With the Christmas Holiday fast approaching and New Year's right behind it...tis the season for engagements! After the "YES" the wedding planning starts and Bridalpalooza is the place to be. Bridalpalooza will be in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 27, 2011, an exclusive event for the brides and grooms to be. This is your wedding and you're the star! So why not be in the city where all the Glam happens...lights, camera & action at Bridalpalooza . The Bridalpalooza VIP tour includes several of the finest wedding vendors & top venues located in Los Angeles for planning your wedding.

On the tour you will sample food, wine taste, tour a few potential wedding venues and more! After the tour you are invited to a fabulous cocktail party to celebrate with appetizers and champagne. Now that sounds like a great day of wedding planning!

Serra Plaza | New Orange County Wedding Venue in San Juan Capistrano

I was recently invited to attend a wedding vendor brunch at Serra Plaza and it was MARVELOUS! I had the opportunity to tour the new venue and was amazed at how beautiful this plaza was. It is just the perfect backdrop for sharing your vows.

The bride can walk across the beautiful hallway for all the guests to see, then stroll down the staircase to her groom.

Serra Plaza has many gorgeous amenities to accommodate you and your guests. I loved the old church pews around the fountain (you can have chairs if you want, but the pews make it). Oh and don't forget the outdoor stone fireplace for cocktail hour. There is also going to be a new bridal suite for you, so you can get ready in style!!!

Serra Plaza is located near the Historic Los Rios District and very close to The Mission San Juan Capistrano. As a wedding photographer in Orange County, I can tell you that this is a wonderful area for your wedding photography. So many photo ops!!

Great Orange County Wedding Venues: Hilton Anaheim & Anaheim White House

Congratulations to Mike and Maggie on their marriage. We are so happy for the two of you as you begin your lives together. What a special day! We started off at the Hilton Anaheim where the couple was staying and getting ready. Mike and Maggie decided to do a First Look near the hotel & convention center before the ceremony. Jeff and I love doing First Looks because it gives the couple a chance to have a moment just for the two of them as they see each other for the first time right before for the wedding. This moment is so full of surprise and love between them and we just love to capture that! A First Look allows the couple to feel a little more relaxed going into the ceremony. It also gives you another photo op for your wedding photography. Here is Mike and Maggie's First Look!

After a few photos with the bride and groom, we then brought out the wedding party party and did a few pre-ceremony shots with them. Here were a couple of our favorites.

Maggie with her Flower Girl & Junior Bridesmaid...those girls were posing! I loved all of their off white dresses.

The guys were rockin' their Abbey Road pose! Loved the chocolate brown tuxedos!

After all of the fun at the Hilton Anaheim we then headed off to the Anaheim White House for the ceremony and reception. This was our first time photographing at this Orange County Wedding Venue. The Anaheim White House turned out to be a beautiful back drop for Mike and Maggie to say their vows.

Pixie's Petals | Orange County Wedding Floral Design

Recently, we had the pleasure of doing a portrait session with Leslie of Pixie's Petals. Pixie's Petals specializes in floral design for Weddings & Events in the Orange County and Los Angeles areas. Leslie is so great to work with. She has a fun personality and is very easy-going! I just loved doing the shoot with her and collaborating our art forms with each other. She included a fabulous bouquet in her photos, to show her brand of being a florist. It was gorgeous! The flowers included: Roses, Gladiolas, Succulents and Ti Leaves.

Mark+Jean=Married | Dana Point Yacht Club Wedding

I still can't believe that these two both lived only a short distance from each other in Chicago, but didn't meet until they both moved out to Southern California. Wedding Ideas at The Beverly Hilton

Recently I photographed a wedding event at one of the most prestigious hotels in the Los Angeles area. The Beverly Hilton is known for hosting many elite events, one in particular that you all may know of is the annual Golden Globe awards. This hotel is also a fabulous venue for your wedding too. On this particular night, our event was hosted up in The Stardust Room. This is an intimate space to gather your guests for fabulous food, dancing and great ambiance. The patio off the Stardust Room has almost a 360 degree view of Los Angeles. Looking out you are literally feeling like you are on top of the world when you see the view of the city. It was amazing!
